CEHD Awards

Jane Stallings Student Service Award

This award was established by the College of Education and Human Development’s Dean’s Development Council with the dual purpose of honoring Texas A&M University’s first female dean, Jane Stallings, and recognizing an outstanding senior education undergraduate student who has demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to the teaching profession. The selected honoree will receive a certificate and $1000 award. To nominate a deserving student, complete the simplified online form. Early Career Research Excellence Award

This award recognizes CEHD faculty members who are in the early stages of their career (no later than10 years after receipt of the doctoral degree) and have made significant contributions to research in their field. The award is designed to acknowledge a body of research rather than a single study. For information regarding this award, please contact the CEHD Faculty Affairs Office.

Outstanding Faculty Mentoring Award

The Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award recognizes outstanding mentoring by a faculty member. Nominations are requested from assistant professors. Three recent award recipients to make up the Selection Committee. For information regarding this award, please contact the CEHD Faculty Affairs Office.

Senior Scholar Research Excellence Award

 This award honors a CEHD senior scholar who has made significant contributions to research in his/her field and whose work has been recognized. Community Award

The CEHD Community Award recognizes outstanding staff and faculty who demonstrate a commitment to embracing and improving the CEHD community by living the Aggie Core Values (Respect, Excellence, Loyalty, Leadership, Integrity, and Selfless Service), welcoming all individuals, and respecting their different experiences, beliefs, and values.
